Pre-Plant Soil Moisture Survey Program

The High Plains Underground Water Conservation District conducts an annual pre-plant soil moisture survey to inform producers about general plant-available soil moisture conditions within its service area.

Flow & Pump Efficiency Testing 

Pump flow metering and pump-power plant efficiency testing is one of our standard services offered free of charge to High Plains Water District residents upon request.

Water-Level Observation Well Program

Each December, the High Plains Underground Water Conservation District makes depth-to-water level measurements in a network of more than 1,200 privately-owned water wells located throughout the District.
